Born from more than 30-years of composite shaft mastery, the new MMT Taper Iron utilizes a patent pending Metal Mesh Technology (MMT) to redefine the possibilities for feel and performance in a composite iron shaft. A unique metal mesh – made from individually braided strands of 304 Stainless Steel – is integrated into the shaft’s prepreg layers towards the tip. This improves density and stability, while also allowing for thinner overall composite wall construction. Together this yields a finely tuned, highly responsive shaft that still provides the consistent launch and spin control needed for effective iron play.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • I need to replace the 9-iron mmt 105 shaft. I have matching spare 7-iron shaft and a pw shaft. Should I butt trim the 7-iron shaft or extend the pw shaft by 0.5 inches. Thanks

Hello, if you wanted to the PW shaft what would just be considered hard stepping.  Installing the 7i would be double soft stepping.

  • Are the taper tip MMT's constant weight and butt trim to fit? Thanks

Hello, these are .355 taper tip so they are butt trim to length only.
