Fujikura Irons Tip Trimming Instructions:
In general, tip trimming can be used to achieve a stiffer shaft profile, lower launch, and/or lower spin. Tip trimming 1“ is equivalent to one flex. For example, if you wanted to stiffen your S flex to an X flex then you would tip trim 1”. If you prefer to play shaft in between S and X flex, you would tip trim 1/2”.

Finally, I found a true mid weight graphite iron shaft. After prepping them carefully, I installed them in a set of Titleist T100 iron heads. WOW! Could not be happier with the feel and penetrating ball flight with these 75 gram Fujikura Pro Ion Plated graphite iron shafts in R2 flex. Not all seniors need noodles to get the ball airborne. These shafts do it with control. Now I want a set of black shafts in the same specs. The Golf Club Trader has always helped me find the right shafts I was looking for and I thank them a lot.
