The All-New MMT™ Utility Irons were designed specifically with the next generation of utility irons in mind. Incorporating our patent pending Metal Mesh Technology -individually braided strands of 304 Stainless Steel integrated into to a shaft’s prepreg layers- allows us to construct shafts with thinner walls. Thinner walls improve feel and responsiveness, and the combined strength of steel and carbon provide more consistent launch and spin. This means more control and confidence with every shot.

I have a Srixon ZX MK II Utility Iron 18 degrees with the Recoil Dart shaft. I don’t love the shaft and was interested in the MMT 105 Iron Taper shaft in TX flex. Would I be able purchase the shaft with a grip installed and I don’t know what tip prepping is exactly but I’m assuming it’s what’s need to install a club head. Is that something that could be done or would I need to do all of that after purchasing a raw shaft?

Hello, the shaft will be shipped out brand new uncut unless you select "tip prepping" at checkout which includes sanding the tip getting the shaft ready for installation. You will want to first install the shaft into the club head, cut to your desired playing length, and then install the grip as the final step.
